Meze-Meze delivers what its name promises: an extensive selection of meze, the Greek equivalent of sharing dishes to accompany ouzo, wine, or beer. Located at the far end of Pounta, its seaside tables offers wonderful views of the town and the Peloponnese coast from Lemonodassos to the Koimomeni ridge. It’s the perfect setting for a leisurely meal with friends or a romantic dinner for two.
Owners Dimos and Katerina attend to guests personally, offering advice on the menu of Mediterranean noshing. Dimos, a musician and enthusiastic singer, is easily persuaded to abandon the kitchen and pick up his bouzouki and lead diners in a medley of popular Greek ballads. Its this spontaneous vibe and the live music that makes a meal at Meze-Meze special—and well worth the stroll to the end of the town.
